um... you can turn the ball black by holding it for 65 hours. then dropping it and meleeing it 65 times.

Here is a hint, drop the ball in the lift and it turns much more blue. Plus you only have to shoot it like 2 times before it falls through the map and play ball. You can also turn the ball red on another map.
