New Float Glitch on Narrows?

So I went up man cannon on Narrows and unfortunately collided with someone in mid air. So i figured we both died, but I press the back button and he never died. I go to theater afterwards and find this. I can`t believe he survived that!

No, I asked him, and he said he was actually floating there for that time period, and just went across. Pretty crazy.

i think it was lag, if you look, he threw a grenade up, so he might have seemed to him like he was actually falling
