180 not necessary, if you`re following someone, he won`t understand anything when he`ll jump top green and see you in front of him! xD But 180 could be usefull, nice job.

Yeah it`s possible doing it with a 180, the key in this jump is to maximise the acceleration coming off the tree to get enough speed to land the jump. No crouching needed throughout this jump untill trying to land top mid.
