A Crash Course in Halo History
About this video:
A basic explanation of the how the Halo series has become a competitive vegetable. Tsk tsk, all these negative comments and not one ounce of real substance besides ``nerd``, ``whiner``, and ``you`re wrong``.

You could`ve given your arguments more punch by demonstrating less bias and fewer references to your geekdom (Nothing wrong with being a geek, I`m one too, you just tried too hard). You also make the mistake sooo many people do, which is to assume that Halo 3 was made just for you. Halo CE was fantastic but aspects of the game needed tweaking (NOT the uber-pistol, but the uselessness of certain weapons. Bungie has been trying to give us more weapon options since CE and all but one or two of the weapons in 3 can be used with reliable effectiveness (Only a couple could do that in CE and 2). They also tried to level the playing field so that those ``n00bs`` you speak of could pick up the game and enjoy it because that`s what games are designed to do. Halo 2 was too focused on a singular skillset and not at all n00b-friendly (You may think that`s stupid, but it`s a video game first and a competitive playing field second. Doubt me? Then tell me why Bungie and MLG aren`t one and the same. It`s a game FIRST). The dual-wielding wasn`t overpowered, it was a false sense of security. Halo 3 is the most complete of the titles to date. There aren`t many useless weapons (and therefore useless aspects) and the gameplay is balanced so that the better players will win on their total effectiveness instead of their BR effectiveness. In my opinion Halo CE was really amazing (had the best campaign, but that`s just my opinion). Halo 2 was inferior but had more options and was a newer game, which is hard for people to ignore. Halo 3 took the options from Halo 2 and included the excellence of Halo 1. It`s still different, but still very good. Also I`ll note that the sales of the games display not only THEIR quality, but the quality of the games before them. Halo 2`s sales had almost nothing to do with Halo 2 and everything to do with Halo CE. Btw, this also may just be my opinion, but for me your dictation came off as condescending and narrow-minded instead of articulate. I`m not saying you sport those adjectives, I`m saying that`s what the dictation gave me. I won`t read a response because there`s too many pages, sorry if that matters.

Look its cool you think Halo 3 sucks, but to tell us to go play Shadowrun instead. Thats truly the funnest thing I`ve heard in weeks.
