A Crash Course in Halo History
About this video:
A basic explanation of the how the Halo series has become a competitive vegetable. Tsk tsk, all these negative comments and not one ounce of real substance besides ``nerd``, ``whiner``, and ``you`re wrong``.

I don`t even know what to post to that. From your video I can clearly see that any attempt to explain my point of view on you would fail. I honestly think the game has made an evolution. Not necessarily bad. But I also agree with the idea that if Halo 1 was made available for XBL, Halo 3 would die instantly.

first time i`ve ever posted a response just felt like i could make a few points myself...as of january 08 halo 3 had sold about 8.1 million copies, thats alot of gamers out there and while im not sure the exact number of people involved with the MLG i know the number cant compare...now i understand you want a competitive game but what you and most people on this site define as competitive may be different than some of those other 150 thousand gamers who are on xbox live at any given time, it doesnt make much sense money wise for bungie to cater to their smaller audiences and alienate the larger majority of gamers who are quite possibly looking for a different style of play...altho for being a ``smaller`` audience MLG is probably the most vocal which is good for bungie too to take some constructive criticism...so basically im not disagreeing with you but im not agreeing with you either, i think there is way more to the argument than what meets the eye...also, while im a 46 (yea i kno thats not great), you would be surprised by how many halo 3 gamers out there are ranked 1-35, which doesnt really lend much credence to your ``everyone that doesnt have physical deformities or mental problems can reach level 40`` argument

Still you were very critical of halo 2 and 3 but the truth is no other shooter compares to these in terms of how easy it is to find a match, join up with friends, the level of lag etc.Compared to other games they are still very good, but I am just sad because they could have created something so brilliant when making a sequel to halo 1
