A Crash Course in Halo History
About this video:
A basic explanation of the how the Halo series has become a competitive vegetable. Tsk tsk, all these negative comments and not one ounce of real substance besides ``nerd``, ``whiner``, and ``you`re wrong``.

I`ll give an unbiased opinion being that I have played both Shadowrun and Halo competitively with top players (and that doesn`t just mean in public matches and matchmaking). Everything in this video makes complete sense. Halo 3 is a horrible game. Bungie has brainwashed their fan base into thinking that Halo is the only way to go. Fact is, if this game didn`t have the word ``Halo`` in it, you people probably would have walked right past the game and saved your mommy 60 bucks. Shadowrun is a great competitive game and it is pretty much all a competitive player can ask for. For a community of people who are looking to go pro, you are looking into a game too random to actually play at such a high level. I thought Halo 1, and yes I admit even Halo 2 were both fun games to play. I still play H1 to this day more then I play most if not all other shooters on any console. Now to all you forum members who are hopping the bandwagon and saying H1 is the best game in the trilogy, then why don`t you take this simple fact into account? The same person that made H1 made SR. Yeah that`s right, you want to play H1 again? Then buy Shadowrun it`s that simple. Now being as how I have lost a lot of interest in competitve gaming as a whole I really have no reason to defend one game over another other then the fact that shadowrun is just a great game. I had more fun playing Shadowrun then I have any game on the 360 to date, and most likely ever will as I don`t plan on even keeping the system for much longer. Any of the people that play with me can back me up and say that it is rare to see me sign on xbox live at all, so why defend a game like Shadowrun that I don`t even play? Because it is basically a game that was created for a competitive community like MLG, and you guys continue to feed bungie money for a game that almost all of us can agree is horrible. If you want to play a consistent game with a group of competitive players, then do just as this video said and play Shadowrun. OGRE2, Walshy, Butterz, Shook On3, Hanz, xXx, ManTrain, NistiC and Shockwav3 and all the other pros who are gods in your book all played this game competitively as well as staff Puckett, nexy, Killa KC, etc. So it`s time for you pro wannabes to realize that if a game can take some of the best players in the world off of their respective games to compete in another game competitively, then why wouldn`t you at least try to play it?

For competitive gaming they need to put in COD4, or waiting for COD world at war.

with the maps so big and open in halo 2 you needed to have a some ranged weapons like the BR and Carbine that is not a power weapon like the sniper rifle. There is also a points system behind the halo 3 spewend system areas.
