Im pretty sure all of this happened in halo 2 and we never really saw it i mean think about how many people play the game.... there is at least one moment in everyones gaming experiance where you have just been like what theeee shhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyzas just happened! (as you randomally die)
