Ya his quadshot did not kill him but his beat down should of that happens to me alot when u here the beat down sound but the effect of the beat down is not inflicted on your opponent. Halo 2 is riddled with glitches and problems. That just makes Halo 3 all that much better

didn`t kill him because u were walking backward when u pistol whipped him.... it does less damage than when u are moving forward. Der
