Why are you stuck on halo 1? complaining about the BR spread, when in halo1 a pistol was the best weapon. Your like a virgin who got *****, you cant let go of your first. And you damn sure dnt point out any flaws of the first game.

I usually only played LAN halo 1 games, which the game worked fine, as for halo 3 the game`s guns seem to work just as fine-LoC. except for the main gun the BR which as Lemon said has an effective range of about 5 feet... Good Video! again

Hey Lemons, maybe if you got laid, it would take your mind of the catastrophic downfall the Halo trilogy has taken as competitive FPS..? Worth a try...

Do you think the physics of the pistol in halo 1 would have been any better than the BR in halo 2 on xbox live? We do not know the faults of halo 1 w/ host b/c the closest we get to playing it on xbl is on xbc, which I had my few shares of lag infested games on it. I usually only played LAN halo 1 games, which the game worked fine, as for halo 3 the game`s guns seem to work just as fine. The wall/ground textures for random grenade bouncing in halo 3 is another story though which is my only REAL complaint. In halo 1 the beat downs were almost just as random, I still see montages of guys swinging at nothing but air and get a kill b/c I guess MC is gumby or Mr. Fantastic b/c he was hitting guys no where near him. So, bungie dealing w/ a potential host advantage fixed it as best they could, if you`re both near half shields and both swing, you`re both dead. I`m almost afraid to see the future of MLG given halo 2 kept the same 3 shots from anywhere and you`re dead type play. The burst BR and object identified maps really compliment team work and make it one of the best team based competitive games. Bungie isn`t trying to remake halo 1 over and over, they`ve said that from the get go. Also, given they gave us options to tweak the pistol how we see fit, is MLG really going to take the gamble of changing the last 5 or so years of successful tournament play to accommodate to a few hundred people who wish it was still 2001?? Bungie has done their best w/ what they`re willing to fix/change. Host was too powerful for the BR, so they changed up the spread of it which on XBL is still a bit faulty but on LAN isn`t near as bad as a host h2 BR. Bungie does accommodate to ``noobs`` w/ their dual wielding and AR start games, but that`s why they gave us options to change it and Hardcore/MLG play lists. If the standard for halo 3 was BR start, how many ``randoms`` would still continue to play? Not many. Same for halo 1, if ``randoms`` got the game and got 3 shot off every spawn, who`s going to play? Not many. I agree w/ most of your negatives towards the games, but I don`t believe going back to halo 1 style play is the answer as opposed to bungie getting game designers who also play serious MLG style game settings. I think that would go a long way.
