I believe Tantrum is correct here. You can`t always trust the animation. Apparently the sticky originates from the head area, and thus was trapped by the bubble shield even if the hand was past it.

This is the first time Halo has done the replay stuff, so its not going to be exact, but im almost sure that the frag is what blew the sticky back onto your face.

that probably would have been better if you use the samera angles better.
