if this Were what the halo movie was going to look like, then i would be very disappointed. it looks like an episode of Stargate. So to me, this is what Halo would look like if it were turned into a USA miniseries. this cannot footage from the movie. filmmakers are smarter than to let this clip (or anything that looks like it) be in a movie.
Listen Here xXGilleyXx , I do now see that fox has picked the Halo movie back up, but, this is stuff from the HALO movie whether you wanna think so or not. Bungie had an update about 2 months ago when the first Halo Arms Race video was released. They said that this video was something that Neill Blomkamp (Halo Movie Director) had put together for them. This is stuff that has been made for the movie, it may not necessarily have this scene in the movie, but it IS stuff from the movie. Bungie said so. They can`t literally call this a trailer for the movie because of things like who has the rights and the distribution deal. This was made to promote Halo 3 and sneakily, the movie. It is all here to create hype for the game and the movie. The look of this is most likely going to be the look of the movie. They are using a tactic known as a "High Concept Movie" and eventually most likely will be a "Saturated" movie when it comes to booking.
Okay no this isn`t part of the movie at all the movie is in production and has funding now read IMBD, they have yet to shoot a single shot tho and this is from a series called Halo Arms Race as Previously said by LiL coLeK, k now that we have that all cleared up, no more ppl thinking they know what this is blah blah blah, its done.
omg...people ARE dumb...the movie lost the funding because fox and universal dropped out...but the movie is still being made right now, just because they lost funding, doesn`t mean they stop making movies. It doesn`t work like that. The main reason for company`s like fox and universal is for distribution, not for the "making the movie" part. Neill Blomkamp is the director and he made some cool short films along with commercials. Bungie asked Niel Blomkamp, Peter Jackson, and WETA (Studio that makes everything like the hog, guns, and sets) to take some things from what they have been working on and put it together to help promote halo 3. And yes, it is NOT a game, its stuff from what the WETA studios are working on. It is all stuff that is apart of the film. People need to learn to read.
