First off, we aren`t taking credit for finding anything new, we only want to demonstrate what we`re doing with a glitch that most people already know about. The glitch is that one`s velocity is increased when travelling through teleporters. We are using this fact to make fun tricking and trick jumping maps we hope others will enjoy and soon create.

A Telerun is a course which uses the speed gained from travelling through one teleporter as a necessity (in theory) to reach the end of another. This is done multiple times creating a sort of "run" for a jumper to go through, hence telerunning (if you don`t agree with that name, we don`t care, we will continue to call it telerunning, you can call it whatever you want). We`ve created several maps ranging in difficulty to show the basics of what can be done. The maps are available for download on our fileshare page, so go ahead and test em out.

- This is for the maps, gametype, and demos (saved films). We recommend to use the gametype when playing.

Before you play here`s a couple things you should know:
- Lag reduces your speed a bit so it`s important to have low ping when trying these. Sometimes perfect ping is required to do them. For this reason they are not recommended to be played in big parties.
- The teleporter`s are never set up to be jumped out of when in mid air because the host can`t.
- On the hard version, each stage has a seperate teleporter that takes you back to the start when you miss, which you will...many times =P

These teleporters don`t have to be used for courses like what we have done. They can also be used to perform video worthy stacks. For example, the hard map requires the jumper to stack two rockets by teleporting ahead of one that was previously shot. This is actually pretty basic when compared to the possibilities of dedicating an entire map to one stack. And then there`s partners...mmmmm

We do understand this takes away from the significance of the jumping style most people are used to, that is, using a fixed environment to find jumps. With teleporters the environment is no longer fixed, but dynamic. Some people will view this as an unwanted change because the act of attempting jumps seen in videos is no longer practical. For us, jumping isn`t about watching a video and attempting each jump we see. It`s about enjoying the experience of witnessing impressive stunts. We simply view teleporters as a tool to increase the levels of complexity and creativity in jumping.
