What happened is that he did accidentally shoot you in the back of the head, to him it looks normal, but what halo 3 does is when it registers the hits it automatically makes the bullets go to the spot that hits you. It happens every time a hit is registered, [i]every[/i] time. It happens with melee too, that`s why lunges sometimes look huge or look like they melee in the opposite way, because of latency. It may not look like it, but the game is doing what it is meant to do. Still it`s quite funny to see it happening to that extent!

I think I might know what happened, the game seriously glitched, when your partners sniper cursor went over the opponents head, and the cursor went red, he was within the opponents hitbox, maybe it got the opponents hit box mixed up with your hitbox [major glitch] so when ur team mate shot at the opponents hit box the game thought he was sniping at you
