For example. The song you used, Click Click Boom.. You could have put a sniper kill for each click , then one for the boom. Also, Do not capture with the HUD`s and bars from theater. All you need to do, is press the B button in theater when your clip is playing to make them go away, and keep your crosshair. Once you get the footage you want, transport it to the editing software, and then break it up and edit it. THEN put in the slow motion, not in theater. Just trying to help you out a tad. This is the perfect song for editing too, so make use of it.

Always use rock songs in a montage. For your first montage, you should have used Sony Vegas, or Adobe After Effects, and watched some tutorials on youtube. It would help a a lot. Sync the kills and transitions with the music, and the effects.
