Gunfreak, it`s only logical that they would follow Xena throughout the tournament to draw attention to females in the world of gaming. The target audience of most video games is males age 14-28, and even more limited in the FPS genre. MLG is clearly trying to expand their horizons.

Besides that, Tsquared, Karma, Walshy, Fonzi and others have been showcased on MLG`s TV show on USA. Some of them have appeared on well-established programs like LP on 60 Minutes, Tsquared on True Life and a plethora of pros on local news mediums. Quite a bit of difference between MLGpro.com, which reaches tens of thousands, and national television, which reaches millions.

In the future, feel free to think before posting. It works wonders.

Wow MLG way to delete my comment over an opinion. Anyways "The reason why they follow Xena is because she was the first girl gamer to ever compete in MLG so they follow her and see what she has to say about how the events are going and she has gone to every single event since she started it`s basically out of respect because after all she is the first competitive girl gamer in MLG." I understand that but I still think it is unfair to FB Carbon Str8 5K FBI who are the top teams not to get the same media coverage. Sure they follow the teams but they hardly interview them on video let alone EVERY tournament. Kinda unfair IMO.
